Tournament Information

No-Limit Texas Hold’em with Big Blind ante and 30 second Shot Clock. Late registration and re-entries available until the end of level 6. This is a multi-day tournament.

Double Re-entry: Players may participate in this tournament a maximum of 3 times.
Shot Clock: Players have 30 seconds to act before their hand is folded*

Blind Levels: 45 minutes
Estimated Duration: 17-20 hours (maximum 9 hours gaming time per day).

Day 1 (January 25) and Day 2 (January 26) will each begin at 12.30pm and will play for up to 9.5 hours each day (including 1 hour of breaks). Day 3 (January 27, if required) will start at 6.30pm.

Day 1: Levels 1-11 will be played
Day 2: Levels 12-22 will be played
Day 3 (if required): From level 23 until completion

*The 30 second timer begins once the dealer has counted and announced the current bet or raise. Subsequent calls or folds will immediately start a new 30 second timer. Players are provided with five “Time Chips” upon registration, which can be surrendered for an additional 30 seconds each. Available Time Chips will be automatically surrendered once the clock reaches 10 seconds remaining. At this point, the dealer will announce “Time Extension” and add 30 seconds to the clock. Used Time Chips will be collected at the conclusion of the hand. Multiple Time Chips may be surrendered at once. Unused Time Chips are refunded at the conclusion of the hand at a rate of 1 per full 30 seconds remaining on the timer. A Time Chip is considered ‘used’ if one more second of the 30 seconds provided elapses during the hand. Players are to treat Time Chips as they would high denomination tournament chips; always keep them visible to other players and the dealer. Time Chips are replenished at the start of each day and upon reaching the final table (to a maximum of five).

**The cash prize is determined by the actual number of participants and prize pool contributions received.

This tournament will play 9-handed.
There are 10-minute breaks after levels 3, 7, 9, 14, 18, 20, 25 and 29.
There are 40-minute SkyCare breaks after levels 5, 16 and 27.

As part of the experience, customers must ensure they comply with SkyCare limits. The playing session timer starts when the customer first uses their SHOW by SkyCity or Premier Rewards card to play. The customer is required to take a continuous 30-minute break after 5 hours of play. The customer can resume playing after their 30-minute break for another 5-hour session, then will be required to take a continuous 6-hour break. The customer can play for a maximum of 36 hours per week (resetting at 7am on Mondays).

Customers may be required to complete a SkyCare Break before commencing play. A customer requiring a SkyCare Break before commencing play will not be denied entry to the tournament as long as they register and complete their SkyCare Break before the end of late registration and they will not be blinded in. Customers without sufficient SkyCare weekly play time to complete the tournament will not be permitted to register.
